Applications for Spring 2026 are Now Closed

We’re once again partnering with The Onion for a weekend stacked with curriculum to help you hone your satire skills and real-world career guidance for marginalized writers who aspire to someday join the ranks of America’s most famous satire publication or launch a career in comedy writing. This program’s core objective is to provide an opportunity for writers from historically excluded groups to learn from an established comedic institution by relieving financial barriers via free education and development. If you’re interested in this opportunity and have not done so already, please spend some time on The Onion’s website and/or social channels to familiarize yourself with its voice and point of view.
